 We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ as the literal Son of God and a distinct member of the Godhead along with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to earth to experience the trials of mortal life, teach and testify of God, perform mighty miracles, and complete His atoning sacrifice, which would allow us to be cleansed from sin and to be resurrected.

    Biography of Alex Briones

     Alex Briones was called by God on July 4, 2003, and felt a deep calling to serve God and His people from the very beginning. Alex joined Harvest Time Church to pursue this calling and actively participated in their discipleship program. This program provided a solid biblical teachings and spiritual growth foundation, equipping Alex with the knowledge and tools to serve others effectively.

    In recognition of Alex’s dedication, commitment, and leadership potential, he was ordained as an assistant pastor in April 2008. This ordination marked a significant milestone in his spiritual journey, as it granted him the authority and responsibility to assist the senior pastor in guiding and shepherding the congregation. During his time as an assistant pastor, Alex gained valuable experience in pastoral care, preaching, and ministry administration. He had the privilege of working closely with the senior pastor, learning from their wisdom and guidance while developing his unique approach to ministry.

    In April 2017, Alex felt a stirring in his heart to establish the Open Heart Fellowship. This new chapter allowed him to step into the role of Senior Pastor, where he could fully express his vision and passion for creating a community of faith and love. Open Heart Fellowship was founded on the principles of authenticity, acceptance, and a deep desire to see lives transformed by the power of God’s love. As the Senior Pastor of Open Heart Fellowship, Alex has been blessed to lead a diverse congregation and witness the incredible work of the Holy Spirit in transforming lives.

    Through dynamic preaching, heartfelt worship, and intentional discipleship, they strive to create an atmosphere where individuals can experience the fullness of God’s presence and grow in their relationship with Him.

    In addition to the regular home church services and programs, Open Heart Fellowship actively participates in international outreach initiatives, serving the marginalized, and meeting the practical needs of those in remote areas in Northern Samar, Philippines. This commitment to serving others is rooted in their belief that faith is not just a personal journey, but also a call to impact the world around them.

    To this day, Alex continues to serve as the Senior Pastor of Open Heart Fellowship, embracing the responsibility of shepherding God’s people and leading them closer to Him. It is his earnest desire to see lives transformed, hearts healed, and individuals equipped to fulfill their God-given purpose.

    Alex is deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve and is humbled by the trust and support of the congregation. Together, they journey towards a deeper understanding of God’s love, a stronger faith in His promises, and a greater impact in their community and beyond.
